Terms of use and sale (AGB)
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Provider
Exploroo is offered by Jörg Schmid, Aleksandar Tanev, 469A, Sofia, Bulgaria, email info@exploroo.app ("we"). Not VAT registered. Jörg Schmid is responsible for the content. These terms apply to the Exploroo app and the website exploroo.app.
2. Who may buy
The app is made for children learning to read. Purchases are for parents and legal guardians, who must be at least 18. A child may use the app only with a parent’s permission.
3. What you get
Exploroo is an offline reading-practice app with recorded lessons, games and stories. The first lesson is free. Further lessons and books are available with a paid subscription, as described in the store listing. We may add lessons and improve the app; we will not remove paid content that was part of your subscription without a fair replacement.
4. Licence
You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use the app on your own devices for your family. You may not copy, resell, or extract the recordings, pictures or code.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Google Play in your currency and include VAT where required. Payment, billing and tax collection are handled by Google Play under Google’s terms. Refunds and cancelling explains renewal, cancellation and refunds.
6. Parent gate
Purchases and the parent area are protected by a simple parent gate. It is not a security feature; parents remain responsible for their device and Google account settings.
7. Availability
The app works offline. We aim for a stable app but do not promise uninterrupted availability of updates, the website or store listings.
8. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law applies. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential obligations and only for foreseeable typical damage. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
9. Learning results
Exploroo supports early reading; it does not guarantee a specific learning outcome.
10. Changes
We may update these terms for good reason, for example new features or law changes. We will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. If you disagree, you may cancel your subscription.
11. Law and disputes
If you are a consumer, the law of your country of residence also protects you, whatever the choice of law below. Otherwise Bulgarian law applies. We are not obliged to take part in a consumer dispute procedure and have not agreed to. The EU online dispute resolution platform has been closed since July 2025.
12. Severability
If a clause is invalid, the rest stays valid.
